Hello guys, I really like this site. I want to help save the toads too. I do have a pond and I have frogs but no toads. I would love some toadspawn to raise in a tank but dont know if you guys would let me have a little. Thanks Jack
I am isolating areas in the garden to encourage toads. There are some here already. Any suggestions as to how I can get some more in, and, particularly, how can I avoid killing them?
Hi - Many thanks for the info on your website. I have found and rescued no less that 5 toads already this year and been rewarded by strings of spawn in my fishpond (and many hatched tadpoles already!!) I am now much better advised about these endearing creatures. I love the sounds they make from under the waterfall!!! One of the ones I rescued from the road now comes to the edge of the pond when it hears my voice of an evening, which is lovely.
Anyway - keep up the good work in your neck of the woods and I will do the same in mine!
Kind regards
Chrissie

Found your site very usefull full of helpfull information. I am a member of SWWARG group (South and West Wales Amphibian and Reptile Group). We have various roads that we Toad Patrol with one in particular that we are considering putting up toad fencing and found your site extremely helpfull. Was interested in the section about salted toads, would it be possible to send some pictures of the salt infected toad so that we as a group can identify (if we come across them) and would know what to do with the toads. Is it just the toad that are affected or can the salt affect frogs and palmate newts as well?
