little information or apparent concern there is to amphibian decline in the U.K. Is this the case? I am a member of frogwatch Ontario which monitors amphibian populations in Canada. Does a similar organization exist there? Thank you for your local interest in protecting amphibians in the U.K.

we were looking for info on the toads that live in our garden. it is nice to see concise information on your page, thanks.
we live a block away from a water way, so why are our (the) toads mating in our garden? can we do anything to help them?
just to let you know, we found a (one) toad in our backyard and i put it in the garden (about 2 weeks ago) now there are three! yippee, we like toads. our spinach was being eaten by slugs or bugs or whatever, and now it’s doing great. we ate our first "crop" at dinner tonight.
thanks again,
Andrew and Lanette

looking for some information about toad spawn. We had some in our
pond but the fish ate it. I wanted to know whether you can hatch it in a tank like frogspawn. How can
you tell the difference between tadpoles and toadpoles (is that what they’re called?)
